To all Officers, Staff, Moderators, Pastors, Preachers, Delegates, friends and supporters of the East Mississippi Baptist State Convention, Inc., I greet each of you in the awesome, amazing, majestic, and magnificent name of Jesus Christ, our Kinsmen and Redeemer.
I am filled with excitement and the joy of the Lord, realizing that our 2023 Annual Convention Session will soon be a living reality in a very few weeks, The Annual Session gathering has weighed very heavily on my mind and in my spirit as we approach the final stage of preparation.
We are blessed because our Convention will convene in the Queen City of Meridian, Mississippi at the commodious West Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 10530-Woods Rd, Meridian, Mississippi. Rev. Odell Hopkins is the Host Pastor. The dates for our 2023 Annual Session will be Monday, October 23 – Thursday, October 26, 2023.
We are praying and trusting God, believing that through the power of the Holy Spirit, He will engage us to maximize the ministry that has been assigned to our hands as we diligently labor and teach to impact and spiritually empower God’s people. I sincerely encourage you, especially all Pastors, Preachers, Church Leaders, and all of God’s people to make plans to attend our upcoming Annual Session. I hope you will encourage the members of your church family to attend and take part in the innovative plenary sessions and schedule of activities.
