We were blessed with an impressive Annual Session in October. It was good to see so many of you in attendance. We commend Scott County for their Excellent Hospitality. What an awesome and blessed time we shared, held at the Scott County District Missionary Baptist Association building, under the leadership of Rev. Charles E. Bell, Jr. Moderator, and the Woman’s Auxiliary under the leadership of Sister Jacqueline McDougle, President and Sister Sheila Brown, Vice President. Thank you, Scott County, at-large for being such a hospitable and kind host!
The Mid-Winter Board Meeting is in view and preparations are being made. This meeting promises to be informational and spirit -filled. The Woman’s Auxiliary will be in session as we make plans for our 2023 gathering. We welcome your input (all suggestions in writing). Registration and other information can be found on the East Mississippi Baptist State Convention website.
We are looking forward to seeing each of you as we convene with the 2nd Enterprise District, Pastor Darron Chapman, Moderator, and Woman’s District President, Sister Anita Norsworthy, on Friday, February 10, 2023, through Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Pineville MBC, 25 Pineville Church Road, Waynesboro, Ms. 39367, Rev. Samuel Newton, Pastor and Sister Bettie Loper, Local Woman’s President. Friday, February 10, 2023, registration will begin 6:00 P.M, service at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, February 11, 2023, registration will begin at 7:30 a.m., and official opening at 8:30 a.m.
Program suggestion and guidelines will center around our Theme: “The Year of Recovery Building On a Solid Foundation,” Matthew 7:24. We ask that all committees and chairpersons would be in attendance and have a written report, as well as a past and present plan for the 2023 session.
